Need to know how many Pitbulls you spayed/neutered last year – run a custom report!
Want to know the email address of all your public clients that visited in April – run a custom report.
This report section is one of the most used reports in Clinic HQ!

What is the difference between a filter when it has “Include” vs. “Include all?”

Include all will provide appointments that both have the information and those that don’t have the information. For example, you may want to collect client contact details. On the filter for the Owner’s phone, use the include all. Many clients will not have a secondary phone listed for this field. If you chose just the plain “include,” it would only provide results for clients that have a secondary phone.

You can build the report with the options in the filters, but first, choose the time period that you need a report for and whether or not you’d like to view data for all animals or just successful surgeries.

“Successful surgeries” means all intakes minus deceased animals (including by owner request) and declined surgeries. Most grants will want to see successful surgeries.

Look through each of these categories to customize your report: Appointment filters, Recheck filters, Animal filters, or Owner Filters:

Click each category to apply details to be included in your report.

When you’ve finished constructing it, click Run report to view it in HQ or Run to Excel to see a spreadsheet.
