HERE IS A VIDEO ON HOW TO INSTALL THE DYMO LABELWRITER DRIVER
Ordering a Dymo Wireless LabelMaker
The Dymo Wireless LabelWriter is the best option for printing labels.
- It does not need to be connected to any one computer, which makes it a perfect fit to connecting with Surface Go tablets.
- You can use any brand label with it. The Dymo 550 REQUIRES Dymo brand labels in order to print, which makes it the least desirable option.
But wait, my clinic already has this 550, will that still work? It’s possible, but we cannot invest time in helping you make it work. Help tickets on 550s are our #1 complaint in our entire tech support system. On the other hand, we rarely hear any issues with the wireless printer. It is 100% the way to go.
- Step 1 is to order yourself a wireless Dymo printer and some labels. To order, go to this link on Amazon and order: https://a.co/d/fV7UXuf. If you are looking around, you can Google Dymo Wireless Label Maker and see if you can find a better price. The labels we recommend have the
- Order labels. There are many sizes of labels, but our suggestion is to order 2 ¾ x 2 1/8 with a “caduceus watermark.” HERE’S A LINK to view and order at Amazon. Note: 550 Label writers cannot run these labels.
Installing the Dymo Wireless LabelWriter Driver
One might think you could simply search for “Dymo Wireless Driver” and get the correct driver. That would be incorrect. The SPECIFIC DRIVER you need is below. You will be using the Dymo LabelWriter with a WEB BASED SERIVCE (Chrome + HQ) and it REQUIRES a different driver than what is on the main dymo website.
Here is the driver you need to download. Install only the correct driver based on your model.
