How can they pre-sign consent forms?
In Settings you can upload a template of your consent form. You can have forms for spay / neuter, wellness and recheck.
Note: All wellness appointments from dentals to vaccines will have to make do with only one consent form for all of wellness. In some ways this makes it simpler, in other ways, it may complicate things.
Public Clients
For public clients, when you make an appointment, or approve an e-appointment, a consent form is auto-emailed to the owner from HQ. You don’t have to do anything on your end but simply make the appointment. The owner will get reminders every two days until they sign the consent form.
Volume Clients
For volume client appointments, they will pre-sign in the Volume Client Portal (VCP). They can bulk sign all consent forms at once in the VCP.
- Once all of the animals are entered in, the client can go to Appointments.
- There will be a tick box for the forms that are completely filled out. From here, they can tick the boxes for the completed animals and click Bulk Sign at the bottom, which will sign their consent forms.
- They will be brought to a page where they can fill out more specific questions about each animal and sign. If relevant, they can apply fields to all forms rather than filling out each one individually.
Volume Client Owners
But, what about your clients’ clients? Your volume clients can send your consent form to their clients to pre-sign before surgery.
- If the owner section is filled out (meaning this is an owned animal) the consent form can be emailed to the owner.
- To do this, click the three-dot icon for the animal > send to owner. This allows the owner to sign the consent form.
See who has and who hasn’t pre-signed
You can get a visual on who has and who hasn’t pre-signed the consent forms. If they have signed it’s green, if they haven’t, it’s yellow.
Where are they stored?
The consent form is uploaded to the patient’s record under documents. A copy of the consent form is also sent to the client after they sign it.
