Custom Reports
One way to help track inventory in HQ is to run a Custom Report and filter it by Service Items.
To run these reports, go to Reports > Custom Reports > Choose Your Date Range > Filter: All Animals (using the All Animals filter will track Wellness appointments and animals who may have had an unsuccessful surgery but still received services such as vaccines or tests) > Select Filter > Service Items:
Once you choose Service Items, a list of all vaccines, services, products, item sales, and surgery will populate to your screen. You can choose to Include All or to include as little as one item:
Once you choose the items you would like to inventory, select Save Filter and then Run Report. The total number of records will populate to the bottom of the page:
Item Prep
The Item Prep Report can help identify a few different aspects of inventory and preparing for ordering supplies:
1. It can assist in preparing for your upcoming surgery day.
2. It can help you prepare for upcoming vaccine or microchip clinics.
3. It can help with assessing when to order clinic supplies.
