Creating and Managing Wellness Appointments: A Guide to Internal and External Scheduling for Comprehensive Pet Care.
Wellness appointments are any appointments that aren’t spay/neuter or recheck. These can include dental exams, vaccines, med-pickups, and even end-of-life care. They can be time-based or not. This section will explain how to create public and volume wellness appointments both internally and externally.
Advanced Wellness Vs. Basic Wellness
Basic Wellness appointments are scheduled from the spay/neuter calendar. These appointments are not time-based. This type of appointment is more commonly used for walk-ins or for clinics that don’t typically offer wellness services but may find the need to schedule something other than spay/neuter. It should be noted that Basic Wellness is not available for public external scheduling through E-appointments.
Advanced Wellness appointments are scheduled on their own Wellness Calendar. You will need to create the different appointment types and rooms.
