Managing the Wellness Schedule
The appointment hours for wellness services are controlled by the Wellness Rooms. However, if your clinic’s wellness services are not available on the same days as spay/neuter services or if you want to have different hours on different days, you will need to set up the Wellness Calendar schedule from the actual Calendars.
Opening/Closing Days
The Spay/Neuter Calendar controls the days of operation across your clinic. Meaning if the day is closed on the SN calendar, it will also be closed on the Wellness Calendar.
How do I open a day just for Wellness/Vaccine Clinic and not for spay/neuter?
Go to the Spay/Neuter Calendar and open the day. Once opened, click the day and choose “Adjust capacity for today only.” Zero out the surgery capacity and save. Additionally, you may want to click the day again and add a note indicating the day is just for wellness.
We want to open the day for spay/neuter but not offer wellness. How do we prevent people from booking wellness services on a surgery day?
Create a Closed Block
If the day is open on the Spay/Neuter Calendar, you will need to create a block on the Wellness Calendar.Go to your Wellness Calendar and click on an open empty space on the timeline under a room. In the pop-up, indicate the reason for closing this time block, the duration the block should last, and whether it should repeat.
Removing a Blocked Time
Remove a blocked off time by clicking the blocked reason. Then click Delete.
If the block is a recurring on other days, you will have the options to delete it from this day only(the day you are working on) or all days. Here is what each option means.
- This event – Deletes block from this day only.
- This and future events – Deletes block from this day and future days.
- All events – Deletes block from all days, past and future included.
