Cannot Locate Animal in Patient Flow
h3.The animal was checked in but is not found in Patient Flow.
Check the Flow filters
- Are you under Dogs or Cats?
- Is it set to show All Teams?
- Is the status set to show All? (Here you can filter the page to show you all animals: those that have not yet been done, or those are marked as done for the selected phase of Flow.)
- Is the appointment Anesthetic or Non-Anesthetic?
The Basic Wellness or Recheck Appointment does not appear in PF.
If it is a Basic Wellness or Recheck, does your clinic have Patient Flow settings configured to add those appointments to PF when checked in?

If the settings toggle is on (green) then the appointments are located under Non-Anesthetic. By default these appointments will be under Non-Anesthetic, you can move the appointment to the Anesthetic flow if need be.
Wellness Appointment does not appear in PF.
Check the Wellness Settings to see what type of assigned flow the appointment was given.
Do that in Settings > Wellness Settings here: https://clinichq.com/app#/settings/wellness
Each appointment type should be designated Anesthetic or Non-Anesthetic. If it is set to “Disabled” then the appointment will not appear in PF at all once checked in.
If set as Disabled but the appointment should be in PF, change the setting by clicking the pencil icon beside the appointment type. This will update future appointments to appear correctly. Your existing appointment will need to be manually pushed into PF.
In this event, go to Check In/Checkout and edit the appointment by clicking the status “In Progress.”
At the top right corner of the appointment, click Action.
From the dropdown menu, choose which flow this appointment should appear under in PF.
