Creating mobile locations

Location Description

These are the extra details about the location beyond the physical address to help clients. Example: Across the street from Walmart, or Drive behind the building to the white tent.

Should the location be “Stationary?”

Marking a location as stationery will add it to every day on the calendar. – meaning if you open that day, that location will already be assigned. A stationary location is one that you are at – always. For example, you have a main brick-and-mortar building where you offer wellness services all the time. You also have a van that goes to other communities. You operate both out of the stationary location and the van on the same day. In this case, you have two teams, one working the stationary location and the other working the van.

Be sure to read more about configuring your calendar with Mobile Locations from the chapter on Scheduling.

Mobile Location Reminders

For clinics that use mobile locations, you will update your confirmations and reminders to use the scheduled location. The notifications to your clients will contain the #Location# to populate the chosen destination for the appointment day from scheduling. Update your emails to include the auto-populating field so that the location’s address and description will auto-fill when emailed.

Troubleshooting Mobile Location Setup

If a new location is set up incorrectly, the user may experience a server error message. These are the most common reasons an error message will occur.
