A label printer is a helpful tool for labeling medications in a your clinic. It helps create clear, accurate labels for medication bottles or containers with essential information.
There are many brands of Dymo LabelWriters. We specifically recommend, and support, only one – the WIRELESS Dymo.
This one is best because:
- It does not need to be connected to any one computer, which makes it a perfect fit to connecting with Surface Go tablets.
- You can use any brand label with it.
Labels:
While there are are many sizes of labels to chose from, we suggest 2 ¾ x 2 1/8 with a “caduceus watermark.” HERE is the link to purchase!
To learn how to install this printer & troubleshooting, see our Section in the manual outlining installation.
Important Note: The Dymo 550 requires Dymo brand labels in order to print. Help tickets on 550s are our #1 issue in our entire tech support system, while we rarely hear of issues with the wireless printer. If your clinic already has a 550, it may be possible to set it up with HQ, but we cannot invest the time to troubleshoot this with you.
