What is the Difference between Canceling and Deleting

Deleting should only be done very rarely. It should only be used in two scenarios:

1. You accidentally made an appointment for someone, perhaps a duplicate. Here it’s appropriate to delete.
2. For Volume Client appointments, perhaps you made too many appointments. In that scenario, it’s appropriate to delete.

When an appointment is deleted it is gone permanently and not part of the client/animal’s records or history of being scheduled. Deleting cannot be undone. Canceling will keep the animal’s information associated with the client in the Appointments tab and the Animal tabs here. It puts it in the statistics that it was canceled. It also indicates that it was canceled here
