With Clinic HQ, the check-in process is expedited. We have the option for you or your clients to fill out all their check-in forms online, saving time in the future. The HQ check-in process works for spay/neuter, wellness, and vaccine clinics alike.
Clinic HQ believes that a check-in process should be fast and efficient. Using tools such as E-appointments, E-consent, good communication with confirmation/reminders, and E-pay will help your team check in animals and get started with exams faster! The action of checking in an animal on Clinic HQ is an important process in order to indicate the animal is at the facility and in your care. Once Check In has occurred, the animal’s appointment status will update to “In Progress”.
Important: If an appointment is accidentally checked in or checked out, the status cannot be reverted. However, your team should still be able to complete all necessary actions with the appointment regardless of the mistake.
There are three statuses to an appointment:
- Pending – Animal has not arrived.
- In Progress – Animal has been Checked In, and the medical record is being compiled.
- Checked Out – The animal is “done,” medical record is complete and ready for dismissal.
