To charge a Volume Client a no-show fee, the best method is to mark the animals as no-shows and generate an Item Sale invoice.
You can find Item Sales in the Navigation Panel under Accounting. The sale line item should be labeled No-Show Fee, and the quantity should reflect the number of animals that did not show up. Once done, save the sale and bill the VC. See the screenshot at the bottom of page for reference.
Note: If No-Show Fee hasn’t already been added to your clinic’s Services & Products list, you’ll need to do so before completing the item sale. If necessary, here’s a link to our manual that explains how to add services and products.
Please avoid making any changes to the services or details of an animal’s appointment (for both public and volume clients) if they did not actually show up, as this can lead to misleading data and inaccurate reporting.
