Understanding The Master Report
The Master Report is one of the most complete and robust reports in HQ. It was previously tailored for the ASPCA.
In this report, you have to select a report type to generate the data and specify a date range. This report can generate years of data, and you can further filter it by County if needed.
The Master Report will then generate an excel file with a header that indicates the chosen data range and the body with information selected in the “Report Type” field.
If your clinic has more than one location, the locations will be displayed as columns in the body of the report and in the total count.
Report Type: Surgeries
The first funders are looking for grouping. In particular, that means a surgeries count, a public and volume surgeries count, the age counts (Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric), as well as other indicators like Cryptorchids, In Heat, Pregnant, and Community Cats.
The following groups will display information about grouped Gender and Species. The indicators will also be available as follows:
This sheet also shows a section, with the same details, for community cats only.
The second sheet shows some information about Volume Clients surgeries, like the total number of active clients, and also detailed information on how many surgeries each volume client had during that period.
Report Type: Declined Surgeries
The first grouping of this report is the total count of declined surgeries. You can see the total, and the percentage it represents, of your total surgeries during that date range.
The second grouping is the count of each reason for the denial of surgery.
The third grouping will include vets, and the count of declined surgeries for each vet, in that period of time.
The second sheet of the file is called Mortality Report and includes the total number of deaths, as well as the details of each deceased animal.
This report also includes animals that were euthanized by owner request.
Report Type: No Shows
This report is simple- it only provides the total number of no-shows grouped by Public and Volume clients.
Report Type: Recheck
The first grouping of the file provides the total number of rechecks for that period of time.
The second grouping is a listing of each animal that had a recheck, the reason for the recheck, and the surgical doctor.
